Sheraton Music City in Nashville to Host ASIA 2010

The 36th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Spinal Injury Association will be held from May 25-28, 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee. Dubbed "Music City" and the "Gateway to the South", Nashville is home to many attractions in its distinctive neighborhoods. Downtown features the Country Music Hall of Fame, the famed Ryman Auditorium, the Tennessee State Museum, and the State Capitol. Music Row is home to Music City's signature industry, and is known for its legendary music studios, major recording labels, and management offices. 12 South is one of the city's newest neighborhoods, and is an up an coming place to visit and relax. Many beautiful Southern mansions are open for visitors in 12 South. Germantown is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is the city's most architecturally diverse neighborhoods, featuring neighborhoods where German immigrants settled in the mid-nineteenth century. The Nashville Farmers' Market is in Germantown. East Nashville is a funky and eclectic neighborhood with its own unique personality. Five Points is a bustling retail area, and provides a great place to escape without ever having to leave town. East Nashville is home of LP Field, where the NFL Tennessee Titans play. West End is the home of Vanderbilt University. It is trendy, upscale, and takes full advantage of its proximity to the local academic environment. You will find upscale boutiques, day-spas, picturesque parks and haute cuisine in West End. Belle Meade is Nashville's most affluent neighborhood. It has rich history, matched only by its beautiful surroundings. Visitors stroll through parks and botanical gardens, and enjoy antique shopping in Belle Meade. Opryland is perhaps the best known area of Nashville. Convenient to the airport, family attractions, great shopping, good food and the beauty of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel grounds, there is something for everyone here: Texas Troubadour Theatre, General Jackson Showboat, Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills, Wave Country and Skate Park. Nashville has a lot to see and do, all located within a short distance from its downtown area.
